About Me
Dibyendu Mukherjee was born in Berkeley, California, USA, to Professor Ardhendu Sekhar Mukherjee and Mrs. Sati Mukherjee. Raised in Kolkata, India, he grew up in an academic family; his father was a respected genetics researcher and educator at the University of Calcutta.
Dibyendu earned his Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Jadavpur University. After graduation, he began his career at Paharpur Cooling Towers, where he worked for two and a half years before transitioning into the information technology field in the 1990s.
Over the course of his career, Dibyendu has held leadership and specialist roles across technology, enterprise systems, retail innovation, and AI-driven product management. At Motorola, he served as an ERP implementation expert, a role that took him to China, the United Kingdom, and India on multiple assignments. He later worked at PepsiCo as Director of Innovation, delivering actionable insights to merchandisers and field teams in retail stores.
Dibyendu has also worked in product management at Symphony RetailAI and Promotion Execution Partners, a WPP company, where he helped design and deliver AI-driven capabilities for clients.
He currently resides in Dallas, Texas, with his family. He is married and is the proud father of twins.
